Melvin Gordon Takes Low Contract And Signs With Broncos Instead of Chargers
Former Los Angeles Chargers star running back Melvin Gordon agreed Friday, March 20th to sign with the Denver Broncos, for two years and $16 million with $13.5 million guaranteed. The move came after the position's market seemed "very slow" for Gordon. Gordon chose the Broncos over a better offer from the Chargers, his previous team. Gordon wanted to play against the Chargers twice a year and wanted to stay in the AFC West, so he declined the better offer and ran with the Broncos.
Here is the problem, what will come of Phillip Lindsay? It is a low chance that the Broncos will keep both of these running backs for a long time, especially since they have problems in other places, like their defense. And if they do keep both, will it be worth it?
