Top 3 Free Agency Moves

Many things Happened this free agency and to some it up in one word would be, "Crazy". Today we will look at the top 3 signings and trades in Free Agency Frenzy

1. Arizona Cardinals Trade for Deandre Hopkins:

WR DeAndre Hopkins and a 2020 fourth-round pick were sent from the Texans over to the Cardinals. In return, the Cardinals sent RB David Johnson, a 2020 second-round pick, and a 2021 fourth-round pick. This is a big move for the Cardinals, after the decline of David Johnson, Kenyan Drake was put as the starting RB. That gave them no reason to keep Johnson. Kyler Murray (Cardinals Quarterback) needed someone like Deandre Hopkins this season. Unfortunately the Cardinals went 5-10-1 and landed at the bottom of the fire powered NFC West. Now they have a young and talented quarterback, an experienced and skilled wider receiver duo, and an explosive running-back. This trade was almost perfect for the Cardinals, they didn't have to give much to the Texans to get the arguably best WR in the NFL

2. Bills Trade for Stefon Diggs

The Buffalo Bills acquired the Vikings receiver and a 2020 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2020 first-round pick. This might be sad that the Bills had to give away their 1st rounder, but they did get the super star receiver Stefon Diggs. Stefon Diggs has only improved since his rookie season.

2015 Receiving YDS: 720 (13 Games Played)

2016 Receiving YDS: 903 (13 Games Played)

2017 Receiving YDS: 849 (14 Games Played)

2018 Receiving YDS: 1,021 (15 Games Played)

2019 Receiving YDS: 1,130 (15 Games Played)

With the Bills needing better pass catchers to support Josh Allen this might've been the perfect move, maybe even for both teams. As the Vikings needed more cap space (and having Adam Theilen, another star WR) and the bills having so much, this might've been the best move for both teams. The Bills were already a Playoff team. With Tom Brady gone and with a new star in Buffalo? They might even be a Super Bowl team.

3.Atlanta Falcons Sign Todd Gurley

Less than a day after Todd Gurley was cut from the rams, the record setting running-back signed with the Atalnta Falcons. Gurley's Contract was extremely high and had a decline in the 2019-2020 season.During Free Agency Frexy, he was cut. The Atlanta Falcons RB, Devonta Freeman only put up 656 rushing yards this season, and was also at a major decline. They need a running back to carry the load so that Matt Ryan (34) wouldn't have to carry it all. This contract was also very smart, they gave Gurley a 6 million dollar 1 year contract. Meaning if he doesn't meet his expectations, it will be off to free agency.
